French Picture Postcard signed: "Giulietta/Masina" on verso. Color, 4x6. Reproduction of a French movie poster for La Strada, picturing Masina and Anthony Quinn. Giulietta Masina (1920-1994) was described by "The New York Times" as "film's eternal waif". She is best known for performances she gave in the films of her husband, Federico Fellini. It was his 1954 film La Strada that won her international acclaim for her touching performance as Gelsomina, the much-abused assistant to strongman Anthony Quinn. La Strada won the 1957 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Fine condition.
