TV's original Dr. Richard Kimble at the age of 15.
Early Photograph inscribed: "To Dolores/a swell Agent/who will be pulling/for me in my/next/picture/David Janssen/8-28-45". He has also penned: "'This is America'/'It's a Pleasure'". Janssen was just 15 years old when he inscribed this photograph to his agent. He appeared in It's a Pleasure (1945) starring Sonja Henie but he is not listed in the credits. This is America may never have been released. Janssen was very successful in television, starring in Richard Diamond, Private Detective (1957-1960), The Fugitive (1963-1967) and Harry O (1974-1976). He died of a sudden heart attack in 1980 at the age of 49. Creased, tack holes at corners.
