WILLIAM BENDIX
Early television star.
Photograph inscribed and signed: "To The Boys of/Scott field - lotsa/luck/William Bendix". 8x10, sepia. Bendix starred on Broadway and in films, but he was best known as Chester A. Riley, a riveter at Stevenson Aircraft Company in Los Angeles, on the NBC television series, The Life of Riley (1953-1958). Bendix, who had played the part on radio, later starred in the pilot of Rod Serling's The Twilight Zone. Lightly rippled edges. Paper clip impression at upper left blank margin. Overall, fine condition.
