Likely inscribed to comedian Henny Youngman.
Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Henny/My idea of a/funny guy/Your buddy/Billy Eckstein". B/w with sepia hue, 8x10 overall, image 7½x8¾ (one surface). William Morris Agency publicity photograph by James J. Kriegsmann, N.Y. Captioned at bottom. Billy Eckstein (1914-1993) possessed one of the most distinctive voices in popular music, a deep tone with a unique vibrato. He had his own band from 1943 to 1947. Ink smudged on four words (all legible). Light surface creases, most at blank margins and background. Overall, fine condition.
