William Morris Agency publicity photograph by James J. Kriegsmann, N.Y. Captioned at bottom. Billy Eckstein (1914-1993) possessed one of the most distinctive voices in popular music, a deep tone with a unique vibrato. He had his own band from 1943 to 1947. Ink smudged on four words (all legible). Light surface creases, most at blank margins and background. Overall, fine condition.
