SALVADOR DALI
The Surrealist's Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory.
Printed Image signed: "Dali". Color, 8¾x6¾. The Spanish Surrealist painter, who was strongly influenced by Freud, sought to portray the elements of the unconscious by using unusual methods and rich fantasy, mixing images one may have in dreams and hallucinations. Dali's Persistence of Memory was painted in 1931. His Disintegration of the Persistence of Memory was painted in 1952-1954. Fine example.
