LOTTE LEHMANN. Photograph signed: "Kindest
regards/Lotte Lehmann/1916". Sepia, 4x5. German soprano Lotte Lehmann made
her Metropolitan Opera debut on January 11, 1934 as Sieglinde in Die
Walküre. She was in demand all over America for concerts and recitals. A
month later, Lehmann performed on Arturo Toscanini's first radio broadcast
(February 11, 1934, The Cadillac Hour). Ink lightly beaded. Glue stains
on verso (no show through). Fine condition.
