Gene Autry's sidekick.
Photograph signed: "Pat/Buttram". B/w, 8x10. When Gene Autry began his radio series Melody Ranch in the 1940s, Buttram was hired as comedy relief. Autry and Buttram made several pictures together at both Republic and Columbia studios. The two also costarred on CBS-TV's The Gene Autry Show from 1950-1956. From 1965-1971, Buttram was a regular on the CBS sitcom Green Acres as Mr. Haney. Lightly creased in lower right corner and in lower right margin. Mounting remnant (no show through) and identifying ink notes (unknown hand) on verso. Glue stain in upper right blank corner. Overall, fine condition.
