THE LEADERS: TRAN VAN DINH
Ambassador to the U.S. and son of South Vietnam's Prime Minister.
Signature: "Tran van Dinh/(April 27, 1968)/3266 Morrison St NW/Wash DC 20015" in English, 1p, 6¾x9¼. Small printed photograph of Dinh affixed with caption: "Buddhist writer and lecturer Tran Van Dinh, former brigadier general of the South Vietnamese Army". The son of South Vietnam Prime Minister (1964-1965, 1968-1969) and President (April 21-27, 1975) Tran Van Huong, Dinh was South Vietnam's Ambassador to the United States when he signed this page. He also wrote two novels about the Vietnam War: No Passenger on the River (1965) and Blue Dragon White Tiger (1983). Irregular left edge from removal from bound book. Stray ink mark in bottom blank margin. Fine condition.
