Queen of Jordan, killed at 28.
Photograph signed: "Alia Al Hussein". B/w, 8¼x11. Photograph by Lenare, London. Alia Al Hussein (1948-1977) was the third wife of King Hussein of Jordan. She was killed in a helicopter crash in 1977 at the age of 28. Hussein I (1935-1999), King of Jordan from 1952 until his death, was married to Queen Dina (1955-divorced 1957), Queen Muna (1961-divorced 1972), Queen Alia (1972-her death) and Queen Noor (1978-his death). Creased at margins and blank background. Photographer's stamp and pencil notes (unknown hand) on verso, no show through. Overall, fine condition.
