DINO GRANDI. Autograph Sentiment signed:
"With my good/wishes for a/Happy Xmas/Dino Grandi/Sao Paulo/20.XII.45",
6¾x3¾ affixed to sheet of similar size. Ink caption (unknown hand) and printed
biography at upper right. Count Dino Grandi was Mussolini's Foreign Minister
(1929-1932), succeeding and preceding Il Duce. In 1943, he moved the vote in the
Fascist Grand Council, which brought about Mussolini's resignation. Creased.
Folds. Vertical fold touches the "n" in Grandi. Upper right portion had been
trimmed away; caption and biography are on mounting sheet. Show through of
writing from verso.
