IGNACY MOSCICKI. Scarce signature: "I.
Moscicki" as President of Poland, 1p, 5x3¼ card. Typed at upper edge of card:
"Autograph of Mr. I. Moscicki, President of Poland./Written by request." Light
paper clip impressions at upper left blank corner and right margin, touching the
last "i" of signature. With 1935 letter of transmittal. Lightly creased.
Light paper clip impressions at upper left blank edge and lower left blank
margins. Mounting remnant at lower right blank edge. Ignacy Moscicki served as
President of Poland from 1926 until Hitler invaded his country, September 1,
1939, beginning WWII. From 1939 until his death in 1946, Moscicki lived in exile
in Switzerland. Two items.
