Roosevelt" as Governor, 1p, 8x10½. Albany, N.Y., 1929 June 26.
To Mrs. R.M. Manley, Summit, N.J. In part: "I greatly appreciate the
kind expressions contained in your recent letter to me as I do your interest in
my candidacy and in the development of my administrative policies...." FDR was
in his sixth month as Governor of New York. He was reelected in 1930 and was
elected President of the United States a record four times (1932, 1936, 1940 and
1944). Slightly creased. Fine condition.
