85th birthday. Your continuing thoughtfulness pleased me and you have my thanks.
Mrs. Truman joins me in sending you our very best wishes." WILLIAM D.
SIMMONS had been a member of the White House staff, serving under Presidents
Roosevelt, Truman and Eisenhower. He frequently accompanied the President on
trips away from the White House. Slightly creased. Pencil erasure at upper left
corner. Fine condition.
