HERBERT HOOVER. TLS: "Herbert Hoover",
1p, 7¼x10½. The Waldorf Astoria Towers, New York, 1950 August 17. To
Robert A. Cotner, Kitsap County Community Chest, Bremerton, Washington. In
full: "Your greetings on my birthday are again a reminder of the long
friendship for which I am indeed grateful." Hoover had celebrated his 76th
birthday on August 10th. When he died in 1964, 90-year-old Hoover had lived
longer after his term than any other president --31 years and 231 days. Fine
condition.
