JOHN F. KENNEDY and DEAN RUSK. Partly Printed DS: "John F. Kennedy" as President and "Dean Rusk" as Secretary of State, 1p, 18½x16, mounted to a board of same size. Washington, 1963 May 16. Appointment of Lewis H. Weinstein of Massachusetts as a Member of the President's Committee on Equal Opportunity in Housing. LEWIS H. WEINSTEIN was President of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. During WWII, he was a lieutenant colonel, chief of the liaison section of General Eisenhower's staff and was with Ike at the Ohrdruf concentration camp in April 1945. Slightly smudged "h" in John. Fine condition.
