CHARLES NICOLLE. Signature: "With the best
wishes/of/C. Nicolle" in French, 1p, 4½x7. Tunis, 1930 May 20. On
stationery imprinted: "the autograph collection of/howes norris, jr." A pupil of
Louis Pasteur, Dr. Nicolle discovered that body louse is a transmitter of typhus
fever and, in 1928, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine. Fine
condition.
