CHEMISTS. Philatelic Envelope signed: "Edwin M. McMillan", "Linus Pauling", "Chris Afinsen" and "Joh. Deisenhofer" and, on verso, "Paul Berg/Chemistry 1980", 6½x3½. First Day Cover honoring the Mayo Brothers, 5-cent stamp affixed, postmarked Rochester, Minn., September 11, 1964, FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. Each scientist won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry: McMILLAN in 1961, PAULING in 1954 (also won Peace Prize in 1962), AFINSEN in 1972, DEISENHOFER in 1988 and BERG in 1980. Fine condition.
