INGEMAR JOHANSSON and FLOYD PATERSON. Pair of Everlast boxing gloves, right glove signed: "Ingemar Johansson", left glove signed: "Floyd Patterson". On June 26, 1959, PATTERSON lost the World Heavyweight Championship to JOHANSSON on a TKO in the 3rd round. In a rematch on June 20, 1960, Patterson KO'd Johansson in the 5th round to regain his title. Johansson was KO'd by Patterson in the 6th in a March 13, 1961 rematch. Fine condition. In pedestal format Gallery of History style: base, 16x13x1¼; overall height, 8¼.
