TOM EAGLETON. Photograph signed: "Tom Eagleton/USS 1980". B/w, 8x10. Eagleton was U.S. Senator from Missouri from 1968-1987. On July 13, 1972, at the Democratic National Convention in Miami Beach, Missouri Senator Thomas F. Eagleton was chosen as South Dakota Senator George McGovern's running mate. Twelve days later, Eagleton revealed he had undergone electric shock therapy for depression on two occasions.
