JACQUELINE KENNEDY and LEE RADZIWILL. Book signed: "Jacqueline Bouvier/Kennedy" in full and inscribed "To Joseph Fricelli/With Best Regards/Lee Bouvier/Radziwill/November 1st 1992" on first blank flyleaf, 68p, 10¾x13¼, hardcover. Their book, One Special Summer, Delacorte Press, New York: 1974. First Edition. This book, which the sisters first wrote while students in 1951, describes their light-hearted exploits during a trip to Europe. The text is not set in type; It reproduces their handwritten text. Much of the book's text, poetry and illustrations were executed by Jackie, who was married to Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis at the time of its publication. JACQUELINE LEE BOUVIER KENNEDY (1929-1994) was First Lady from 1961-1963. During that time, she and her younger sister made trips abroad together that were also captured in Jackie's drawings. Jackie married Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis in 1968. LEE RADZIWILL, born Caroline Lee Bouvier in 1933, was the second daughter of Janet Norton Lee and John Vernon Bouvier III. Married to Prince Stanislav Radziwill when this book was published, she later married director Herbert Ross. Radziwill was also the author of another autobiographical book, Happy Times (2001). Rare full form of Jacqueline's signature. JOSEPH FRICELLI is a noted New York collector and autograph dealer. In original dust jacket, which is nicked and torn, lower portion of dust jacket cover detached. Book itself is in fine condition.
