Sports magnate JACK KENT COOKE (1912-1997) owned the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Kings and The Forum in Inglewood, California. WALTER ANNENBERG, media mogul, philanthropist and one-time U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain, headed Triangle Publications, the publisher of "TV Guide", "Seventeen" and "The Daily Racing Form". Advancing from reporter to Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaperman, WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST, JR. (1908-1993) became Editor-in-Chief of Hearst Newspapers, one of the nation's largest chains.
