DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER. TLS: "Dwight D. Eisenhower", 1p, 7x10¼. Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, 1962 June 28. To Alice, Mrs. Lewis L. Strauss. In full: "Mamie and I had a wonderful time at your home yesterday. The lunch was delicious and the company charming. Both of us were impressed by your friends the Brainards and hope that we shall be able to meet them again. When he comes tell him that Mamie and I include him in our expressions of gratitude and give to him our very warmest greetings."
