FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT. Typed DS: "Franklin
D. Roosevelt" as Governor of New York, 1p, 8½x13. Albany, 1930
August 26. Designation of C. Mossman McLean of Binghamton, N.Y. as a
delegate to represent the State of New York at the twenty-sixth annual
Convention of New York State Association of Real Estate Boards, Inc. to be held
at Saranac Inn, N.Y., October 2-3-4, 1930. From 1934-1938, McLEAN served
as President of the Binghamton Character Chest, which is today the United Way of
Broome County. Founded in 1905 as the Real Estate Association of New York State,
the New York State Association of Real Estate Boards is known today as the New
York State Association of Realtors. It is a not-for-profit trade organization
representing more than 33,000 real estate professionals providing a variety of
benefits including legislative and legal representation. The term "realtor" is
today a registered trademark and indicates membership in the NYSAR. Lightly
creased. Lightly soiled at blank margins. Fine condition.
