RONALD REAGAN. ANS: "Ronald Reagan",
1p, 5½x7¼. Hyatt Regency Dallas (Texas) stationery, no date. In
full: "Thank you very much for your kind words and expression of support.
I'm truly grateful. Thanks too for the hospitality. I'm only sorry we had to
catch a plane so quickly." Reagan campaigned for the presidency in 1976 and
1980 but since the Hyatt Regency Dallas opened in 1978, this note was most
probably written by Reagan during his successful 1980 campaign for President.
Creased with folds which touch signature.
