     Document 256911

RONALD REAGAN and NANCY REAGAN
In the early stages of Alzheimer's, Reagan pays his exercise instructor.
Partly Printed Check filled out by Mrs. Reagan for her husband and signed: "Ronald Reagan", 6x2¾. Los Angeles, 1995 July 7. Drawn on his personal account at the Wells Fargo Bank. Payable to "Mike Abrums, Inc." for $30. Abrums was Ronald Reagan's exercise instructor. In January 1995, in a handwritten letter to the American people, Reagan disclosed he had Alzheimer's disease. Five months later, his wife, Nancy, filled out this check for her husband's signature. Ronald Reagan's 92nd birthday was on February 6, 2003. He has lived longer than any other U.S. President. Vertical fold does not touch signature. Bank stamp on verso lightly shows through to last name. Overall, fine condition.
