PAVEL POPOVICH. Photograph signed: "Popovich" in Russian. B/w, 3¼x4½. Popovich was aboard the August 12-15, 1962, Vostok 4 flight, the fourth manned Soviet mission. He orbited the Earth 48 times in the 70 hour 57 minute flight. On his first orbit, Popovich came within three miles of Vostok 3 launched August 11th. Popovich waited 12 years for his second space mission, Soyuz 14 (July 1974), which docked with the Salyut 3 space station during a 15-day mission. He has published several books. Fine condition.
