ADAM WEST
Draws himself as TV's Batman.
Self-Caricature signed: "Adam West", in ink, 1p, 5¾x8½. In 1965, West, who began acting in 1959, was cast as millionaire Bruce Wayne, AKA "The Caped Crusader", in TV's smash hit Batman. Although he vowed to distance himself from the role after the series was cancelled in 1968, West lent his vocal talents to the animated series The New Adventures of Batman (1977) and Batman: The New Adventures (1992). He also expressed disappointment over not being offered a cameo role in Batman: The Movie (1989). Folds, light horizontal fold just touches the "A" in Adam. Irregular left and top edges. Fine condition.
