JANET LEIGH
The famous shower scene from Psycho.
Self-Caricature signed: "Janet Leigh", in ink, 1p, 8x10. In 1960, Janet Leigh was Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. Shortly after checking into the Bates Motel, run by Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins), Leigh, as an embezzler from Phoenix, meets her demise in the shower. The legendary scene, ended with the nude Leigh shown (actually wearing moleskin) covered with blood (chocolate sauce, which photographed better), still strikes fear into audiences today. Fine condition.
