ERNESTO GEISEL. Photograph Signed: "E Geisel", signed again "Ernesto Geisel" on verso. Color, 7¼x9½. General Ernesto Geisel (1908-1996) was President of Brazil from 1974-1979. His military presidency was notable for its policy of "decompression", which led to the restoration of democracy in 1985. He is pictured with his wife. Lightly creased. Slight surface wear. Paper clip impression at upper margin. Overall, fine condition.
