In full: "I can't answer your question because there are so many different kinds of scientific achievements that are incommensurable-that is not comparable. Example: The nature of Mars cannot sensibly be compared with the conquest of polio." Beadle (1903-1989) shared the 1958 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his "discovery that genes act by regulating definite chemical events". Correction fluid at 1 word and blank area between 2 words. Fine condition.
