RONALD REAGAN and NANCY REAGAN
Afflicted with Alzheimer's, Reagan pays his exercise instructor.
Partly Printed Check filled out by Mrs. Reagan for her husband
and signed: "Ronald Reagan", 6x2¾. Los Angeles, 1995 July 7. Drawn
on his personal account at the Wells Fargo Bank. Payable to "Mike Abrums,
Inc." for $30. MIKE ABRUMS was Ronald Reagan's exercise instructor.
In January 1995, in a handwritten letter to the American people, Reagan
disclosed he had Alzheimer's disease. Six months later, his wife, Nancy,
filled out this check for her husband's signature. This is the last signature
we have seen from the 40th President and have been privileged to offer for
sale! Reagan, who died on June 5, 2004, at age 93, had lived longer than any
other President. Vertical fold does not touch signature. Bank stamp on
verso lightly shows through to last name. Overall, fine
condition.
