Only First Lady to witness her son's presidential inauguration.
Photograph signed: "Best wishes, Barbara Bush". Color, 8x10 overall, image 6x7½ (one surface). Mrs. Bush is pictured at the Vice President's residence, the Admiral's House, 34th and Massachusetts Avenue, NW. While wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Bush would sign these photographs in advance. Her secretary would then inscribe the photograph above Mrs. Bush's signature. Photographs without the inscription are scarce. Fine condition.
