HARRY S TRUMAN
White House stamp issued while he was President.
Philatelic Envelope signed: "Harry S Truman", 6½x3½. First Day Cover honoring the National Capital Sesquicentennial, 3-cent stamp picturing the White House affixed, postmarked Washington, DC, June 12, 1950, FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. John Adams, Washington's Vice President and the second U.S. President, was the first to live in the White House, moving in on November 1, 1800. He is pictured on the cachet. Addressed by typewriter to a collector. Fine condition.
