Document 55768 WOODROW WILSON Professor Wilson teaches Jurisprudence and Politics at Princeton. Partly Printed DS: "Woodrow Wilson" in pencil, 1p, 5¼x6. Headed: "Schedule for Academic Special Students./1st Term 1900-190_". Seven courses taken by student W.H. Abbott at Princeton University are listed. Each professor has also signed, including Wilson whose course is listed as: "Jur. & Pol. 1". Others signing include "Henry Van Dyke" teaching English 13 (19th Century Writers). Van Dyke was later appointed by President Wilson as U.S. Minister to the Netherlands and Luxembourg (1913-1916). From 1890-1902, Wilson was professor of Jurisprudence and Political Economy. On June 9, 1902, he was unanimously elected President of Princeton University, serving from October 25, 1902 to October 23, 1910, when he resigned two weeks before he was elected Governor of New Jersey.
