Document 254004 WOODROW WILSON Photograph as President-elect. Large Photograph signed on mount: "Woodrow Wilson" in pencil. Sepia, 10x13½ overall, image 8½x11¾ (one surface). Embossed at lower right: "Pach Bros/N.Y./Copyrighted". This photograph was taken on December 2, 1912. An unsigned copy is in the Library of Congress Prints and Photographs Division, J175998 U.S. Copyright Office. Four weeks earlier, on November 5, 1912, New Jersey Governor Woodrow Wilson defeated former President Theodore Roosevelt and incumbent President William H. Taft in the presidential election.
