NUREMBERG: HARTLEY SHAWCROSS
Chief British Prosecutor at Nuremberg.
Typed Note signed: "Hartley Shawcross", 1p, 4¼x3½ affixed to 4¾x4½ sheet. Temple, England, 1954 November 29. In full: "As requested, I send you herewith a copy of my autograph." Printed photograph and biographical information affixed at left. Shawcross, British Attorney-General (1945-1951), was the Chief British Prosecutor at the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials. Signature page separated, cut just below date before being affixed to sheet. Lightly creased, light diagonal crease touches "w" in Shawcross. Light show through of writing on verso touches "Sh" of signature. Overall, fine condition.
