HARRY S TRUMAN and ALBEN W. BARKLEY. Photo Mount signed: "Harry
S Truman/with best wishes" as President on mount and "Alben
W. Barkley" as Vice President on the border of photo. B/w, 13x11¼
overall, image 10x8 (two surfaces). BARKLEY has signed with the lower
part of the "y" on the mount. Dated "March 5th, 1952" in unknown
hand on the mount. Photographs signed by both a President and a Vice
President in office are rarely encountered and those not inscribed to anyone are
extremely desirable. Surface creased, not evident head on. Slightly shaded
margin of mount from prior framing. The "W" in Barkley's signature light.
Overall, fine condition.
