NEWSCASTERS. Printed Image signed with two ANs: "Who is this guy/in the picture/with me?/John Chancellor" and "I've always hated this/drawing!/David Brinkley", 8½x11. Drawing by Hirschfeld. Depicts NBC newscasters JOHN CHANCELLOR and DAVID BRINKLEY covering a presidential convention. Brinkley and Chancellor co-anchcored the NBC Nightly News (1971-1982). Both were veterans of presidential nominating conventions, Brinkley covering every such event from 1956-2000. Chancellor was forcibly ejected from the floor of the Republican National Convention in 1964. Chancellor died in 1996, Brinkley on June 10, 2003. Lightly creased at upper blank margin. Fine condition.
