VOYAGER. Photograph inscribed and signed: "To Eddie &
Betty/Dick Rutan" and "Jeana Yeager". Color, 4½x7.
Captioned: "Hercules Incorporated/and the Voyager". Verso notes, in part:
"Ninety percent of the Voyager is fabricated of Magnamite graphic composites
donated by Hercules, a leading supplier of graphic composites to the aerospace
industry...." Voyager took off from Edwards Air Force Base, California on
December 14, 1986 with co-pilots DICK RUTAN and JEANA YEAGER
aboard. On December 23, 1986, nine days, three minutes and 44 seconds later,
Voyager landed back at Edwards Air Force Base, California after its
24,987-mile flight. It was the first aircraft to have circled the Earth without
refueling. Fine condition.
