COME TO THE STABLE. Photograph signed: "Loretta Young"

overall, image 6x4 (one surface). Nominated for seven Academy Awards, Come to
the Stable is the gentle saga of two French nuns, Sister Margaret (Young)
and Sister Scholastica (Holm) who come to America in hope of raising funds for a
children's hospital. LORETTA Young (1913-2000) won the 1948 Academy Award
for Best Actress for the title role in The Farmer's Daughter and was
nominated for the same award in 1950 for Come to the Stable. CELESTE
HOLM won the 1948 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as
the fashion editor in Gentlemen's Agreement and was nominated for the
same award in 1950 for Come to the Stable. Fine condition.
